剑桥大学
剑桥大学与G5其他学校相比，接受的语言测试种类相对较少，雅思要求为总分7.5，单项7.0。
不仅如此，剑桥官网还特别强调：“在整个招生过程中，招生导师将评估申请者的语言技能与能力”。并且剑桥大学认为：“在面试时，申请者的英语口语与书面表达能力也应该达到一定水平”。
帝国理工
帝国理工对语言的要求同样根据不同专业，分为Standard level与Higher level。帝国理工所接受的语言测试种类相当多，大家可以根据自身情况灵活选择。
对雅思的要求：
Standard Level：总分6.5，(各项≥6.0)
Higher Level：总分7.0，(各项≥6.5)
对托福的要求：
Standard Level：总分92，(各项≥20)
Higher Level：总分100，(各项≥22)
对PTE的要求：
Standard Level：总分62，(每部分≥56)
Higher Level：总分69，(每部分≥62)
对O-Level的要求：
Standard Level：Grade B
Higher Level：Grade B
